Anticipated Books for September 2015 and TBR! ~Bonnie

This is kind of late, being the 6th now and all, but I thought I had better get to it. My TBR jar is one that I made thanks to Katytastic. I have been watching her booktube videos for probably the last year or so. She made a TBR jar with different challenges on it for this year and I copied it. So glad I did! I have enjoyed trying to stick to a challenge every month.

This month I pulled one that says I need to read a 2015 debut novel. So, I have chosen to read Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard. I am conflicted on reading this book. I have maybe made the mistake of reading some of the reviews. While it has a 4.1 out 5 stars on Goodreads, it seems people either loved it or they didn't. Even Emily had issues with this book. But I will give it my best shot!

On to my anticipated books for September 2015! I won't be giving a description about the books with these. I will just be listing them out and saying why it is that I am looking forward to them.

1. Queen of Shadows by Sarah J Maas

Of course Queen of Shadows makes top of the list. It came out on the first and is one I pre-ordered because I had to have it right away to continue the series. I started this book earlier in the week, but honestly I am taking it slow. I don't want to read it too quick because I have to wait so long for the next one now. I feel like if I rush through it, it will be over and gone in no time. I will probably shed lots of tears because I am done. I don't want to suffer that pain right now! :)

2. The Copper Gauntlet By Cassandra Clare and Holly Black

This book also came out on the 1st. I enjoy reading both of these authors. Even though I only gave The Iron Trial 3 stars out of 5, I will probably, eventually continue this series. I hear quite a bit about how this book is so much like Harry Potter, but I feel only parts of it may be. It is so hard to come by a book now that doesn't share some kind of similarity with another. Most recently I discovered there are similarities with The 5th Wave by Rick Yancey and The Host by Stephanie Meyers. A sister with a younger brother who she is trying to save/help. A boy shows up in the story, does she trust him or not? Those kinds of things.

3. Hunter by Mercedes Lackey

This one doesn't have very many reviews just yet on Goodreads, but it sounds interesting enough that I might pick it up someday. It just came out on the 1st. I will probably wait until there have been more reviews on it. I am bad about reading the reviews of a book before actually reading it. Unless I know from trusted sources that they liked it.

4. Library of Souls by Ransom Riggs

This book is out September 22nd and I cannot wait for it. I have not read the trilogy yet, but that is not going to stop me from running out and buying this book up! It is a series I am so looking forward to reading. But I do have quite a few of those! Too bad I can't read them all at once.

5. Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo

This one I have on pre-order already! It is out on September 29th and I am so looking forward to it. I read Leigh Bardugo's Grisha Trilogy and really enjoyed it. I really felt she grew as an author as that trilogy progress and I am expecting this one to be simply amazing!

Let me know what you guys think! Are you waiting for any of these? Or are there other you cannot wait for this month?

Thanks for reading!

~~~~~Bonnie
